Research Dossier

Primary research This post shows a questionnaire I did for a horror trailer I help make. This questionnaire was made to know who the target audience would be and what type of horror genre to explore. This is primary research as it was a questionnaire that I made, I came up with the questions and put them on a website called Survey Monkey, to get my own research.

This is an old post that shows that I did two interviews for a documentary task that I did in the first year. This is primary research as these are interviews, as you can see in the screenshots. I got helpful information about how they get stressed in college, what causes the stress and how they may over come the stress they might face. The screenshot below is a talent release for the person to the left, showing that I had permission to film and upload footage of that person. 

This is a risk assessment for my documentary task. This goes over the risks of filming due to the equipment needed and the location of filming. This is a research conducted by me, as it shows that I have identified risks and took that knowledge when I went filming, to me and my interviewees safe. 
Secondary Research 
  This is my research from the internet. This research task was looking into stress within students in schools and colleges. It goes through how stress can accrue, the effects that this can have on students and some ways that can try and help relief stress.

This is a prezi that was done for the re-branding task. This task had me research the company Unilever, the ice creams Magnum, TV adverts, TV channels, BARB and the BCAP code to make sure the advert would play at the best time on the most popular channels for the target audience and make sure it is suitable for target audience which had to be different from the original target audience. . 

This is another prezi that had me analysis an advert of a singing dog. This advert was for the product Flash, a cleaning product. I looked into other adverts of that style, if they were any and look a little bit more into the product that is advertised.

This is a screenshot of my presentation on my script called The Death House. This post had me do little research in to some movies that might be similar or I drew some inspiration from. This presentation screenshot shows this by showing two movies a found and researched into to find similarities between my script and these movies.


This post is some research in to MESH a community based company that works with the public, to try and help the council help the public. This research task shows how the council helps the public and how people must look after their homes and gardens. The research into MESH shows mostly posts showing how they help the community, and the events they hold for the public.
 
This is a screenshot of a Short film from the website depicT, the short film was called Picking sides. I had to pick a few short films to talk about, like what happened, what the movie may imply and what i thought of the movie. This research task helped towards making a short film myself.
